Optical Brightening Agents  


Optical Whitening Agent are water soluble dyestuffs. These are kind of Fluorescence dyes that absorb invisible UV light from daylight and re-emit it in the visible spectrum thus enhancing the brightness with excellence of whitness on Textile and Paper etc.
  
     Field of Application

 

CATOWHITE OBA's are used widely in Textile, Paper, Cotton and Polyamide Industries. Used practically at all stages of Textile processing with excellent results. Used for Brightening Cotton, Viscose, Rayon, Linen etc. Provides excellent brightening of paper in terms of whiteness (CIE), Brightness (ISO,TAPPI), Fluoresence & CIE (L*a*b) parameters. It is also used in Detergent Industry since it not only brightens washed cloth but also the detergent powder itself.
